          Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

 

Thank you for trusting us with your tattoo.

Proper aftercare is essential for clean healing and long-lasting results. Please read these instructions carefully.

 

 

        Dermalize / Second Skin 

 

 

Your tattoo is protected with Dermalize (second skin).

 

  • Keep the Dermalize on for 5 full days

  • Keep the tattoo covered and out of the sun

  • Do not remove it early unless instructed by your artist

 

 If the Dermalize starts to lift, leak, or causes discomfort, please contact us and send a photo BEFORE removing it.

 

        Removing the Dermalize

                        After 5 days:

 

  • Wash your hands thoroughly

  • Gently peel, stretching out the Dermalize off slowly, preferably under lukewarm water

 

 

It is normal if the tattoo looks lighter, shiny, or dull when the Dermalize is removed.

Your skin needs time to regenerate, and the color will darken again as healing progresses.

 

 

                Cleaning the Tattoo

 

 

  • Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water

  • Use a fragrance-free and alcohol-free soap

  • Avoid Dial, scented soaps, or harsh antibacterial soaps

  • Baby soap is usually best

 

 

               Drying

 

 

  • Pat dry with a clean, single-use paper towel

  • Do not use bath towels, as they can hold bacteria

 

 

 

 

 

                     MOISTURIZING 

Apply a thin layer only of a fragrance-free, alcohol-free product

  • Do not over-apply — the skin needs to breathe

 

 

 We recommend  HUSTLE BUTTER , available in-store only.

 

 

                         Sun Protection

 

 

  • Keep the tattoo out of the sun for 2 months

  • After healing, always use sunscreen (minimum SPF 70) when exposed

 

 

 

 

 

Important — Please Read Carefully

 

 

 Complete healing takes approximately 2 months — never less.

 

The only way for this tattoo to heal as intended is by:

 

  • following these instructions exactly

  • using the recommended products

  • respecting the required time frames

 

 

Any deviation from these instructions may affect the final result.
