Our story begins in 1987, when Laetitia created her very first tattoo. With over 35 years of experience in the art of tattooing, Laetitia is one of the pioneers of fine tattooing in France and one of the first women to establish herself in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Her work has always been driven by precision, emotion, and respect for each individual client.

 

The roots of our studio go even deeper. Angel Tattoo is proudly connected to the very first tattoo shop ever opened in Tampa: Artistic Armor, founded by Jim and Vicky Harris. This legendary shop helped shape Tampa’s tattoo culture more than 40 years ago, and its spirit of craftsmanship, independence, and integrity still lives on through us today.

 

Laetitia was later joined by her husband Ryan, a professional piercer with over 25 years of experience. Ryan is not just a piercer — he is the sole piercer of the studio, present every day, personally handling every procedure, every follow-up, and every client with care. As a father of three, he is especially trusted by families, first-timers, and parents seeking a safe, calm, and respectful environment for their children and teens.

 

Together, we built Angel Tattoo as a true family business, where trust, safety, and honesty come first. No mass production. No rushed work. No rotating staff. Just real people, real skills, and real accountability.
